Strata Critical Announces Five Leadership Promotions
Strata Critical has promoted five leaders across the organization, recognizing the people behind its clinical care, growth, and integration work.
"Will and I talk a lot about Strata being stronger together, and we mean it," said Co-CEO Melissa Tomkiel. "The best-in-class clinical care we deliver every day, the growth we have achieved, the great partners who have joined us via acquisition: none of this happens without the people behind it."
The promotions, announced by Tomkiel and Co-CEO Will Heyburn, are:
- Michael Hancock, President, Organ Recovery
- Phil Nowak, Senior Vice President, Commercial
- Eric Moore, Chief Technology Officer
- Christie Campbell, Chief Corporate Officer
- Hunter Senning, Chief Operating Officer
Michael Hancock, President, Organ Recovery
Michael Hancock has been promoted from Vice President, Organ Recovery, to President, Organ Recovery. When Michael began building this service line, normothermic regional perfusion (NRP) was used on roughly 20% of donation after circulatory death donors. Today, that figure is approaching 60% industrywide, and Michael has helped lead the way. Under his leadership, Strata has also grown its clinical transplant business faster than the market.
Phil Nowak, Senior Vice President, Commercial
Phil Nowak has been promoted from Chief Strategy Officer, Logistics, to Senior Vice President, Commercial, where he will lead Strata's entire sales organization. Through group purchasing organization partnerships and years of customer engagement work, he has shaped how the company presents its united offering to the market. Phil will now direct its next chapter of growth.
Eric Moore, Chief Technology Officer
Eric Moore has been promoted from Vice President, Software Development, to Chief Technology Officer. He and the developers he leads have harmonized different platforms to work together, launched new software for existing and new service lines, and built reporting and safety tools that strengthen customer partnerships. Eric will continue building the infrastructure that lets Strata grow and integrate without losing its operational thread.
Christie Campbell, Chief Corporate Officer
Christie Campbell has been promoted from Vice President, Clinical Services, to Chief Corporate Officer. Christie has been central to Strata's clinical operations, business strategy, and integration work. In the new role, Christie will coordinate the operating standards, company culture, technology, and infrastructure that let every part of the company function and grow as one.
Hunter Senning, Chief Operating Officer, Logistics
Hunter Senning has been promoted from Senior Vice President, Aviation and Logistics, to Chief Operating Officer, Logistics. He manages Strata's aviation and ground supply and oversees a growing network of aircraft operators, ensuring they meet the company's standards for safety and quality.
Strata congratulates Michael, Phil, Eric, Christie, and Hunter. Their leadership is a big part of why the company is stronger together in helping our customers save more lives.
